All tickets (including additional guest tickets) must be booked under the graduating student’s name.
If you or any of your guests have any access requirements, please book your tickets through the Box Office rather than online, so that this information can be taken into account when allocating seats.
Unless we have been informed otherwise, all guest tickets booked at the same time will be seated together. Should you wish to discuss seating arrangements, or if you have any specific seating requests, please book your tickets through the Box Office.
Graduates may book up to a maximum of 4 guest tickets at this time. There may, subject to availability, be the opportunity to book additional tickets for guests from Tuesday 1st of October. Should you wish to request any additional guest tickets, please send an email to: , stating how many extra tickets you require. We will then reply after 1st October to inform you if your request has been successful.
If you opt for your tickets to be posted, please note that these will be sent out from 9th October to the address provided, once seats have been allocated. Should you require the tickets to be sent to an alternative address, please contact the Box Office, quoting your order number. Any tickets not posted out will be held for collection at the Box Office on the day of the Graduation.
No, all graduands get a complimentary ticket for the ceremony. However it is required for graduands to register their attendance for Graduation. All granduads are guaranteed a seat but please register your names before 1 October to ensure you are sat with your programme. To register click here
Are guest tickets free?
Unfortunately as we do not own a space large enough to host the ceremony we have to hire a venue in the city, this means we are not currently in a position to be able to offer free guest tickets. We have worked really hard to keep costs down as much as possible and ticket price does include a brochure and a complimentary drink afterwards.
How many guests can I invite?
All graduands are guaranteed four guest tickets if booked before 1 October after this date any unsold tickets will be opened to the waiting list. If you would like more than four tickets please ask to be put on the waiting list at the time of booking.
Do children require tickets?
Children under the age of 14 will still require tickets, which are available at the reduced price of £17.50. Anyone with a children's ticket must be accompanied by an adult at all times for safeguarding reasons.
How do I collect my guest's tickets?
Tickets can either be posted (£1.25 postage fee) or collect them from the Box Office (free of charge). Your guests will find their seat numbers on the tickets and will need these tickets to enter the auditorium.
Will I be seated with my guests?
Graduands and guests will sit separate during the ceremony, as granduands are required to sit within their programme areas. Guests with disabilities will have reserved seating provided we are notified of the request at the time of registration. Please be aware that guest tickets must be booked under the Graduands name and, unless otherwise stated at time of booking, will be sat together.
If any of your party have an accessibility issue, including yourself, please contact Claire Pendreigh on , so that we can ensure you have suitable support and access throughout the day.
When booking your guest's tickets, please inform us of any special requirements you may need in detail, and we will try to accommodate your request.
There will be an interpreter positioned by the side of the stage throughout the ceremony. If any of your party are deaf or hard or hearing, please request a seat which has a clear view of the interpreter when booking your tickets.
